Vietnam War (1955-1975)

Kenneth Lloyd Fetter was born in Schenectady, New York, on March 31, 1947. After 1950, he was living with his family in the village of Scotia in Schenectady County, New York. After graduating from Scotia-Glenville High School in 1966, he started working for the Sandy Sals Company.

On November 10, 1966, Kenneth enlisted in the United States Army. He was a sergeant serving with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. On February 20, 1968, Kenneth was killed by claymore mine fragments close to Lai Khe, South Vietnam. He is buried in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Colonie, New York.
