Lawrence T. Enright, the son of John and Adelaide (Farrell) Enright, was born on August 20, 1925, in Niskayuna, New York. The birth index states that he was born on August 20, 1925, however his gravestone says August 25, 1925. Lawrence attended Van Antwerp School in Niskayuna.
Lawrence enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He held the rank of Private First Class and served with the 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On July 25, 1944, Lawrence was killed in action during the Battle of Guam. He is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Hawaii, and is remembered at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, New York.
