Stanley Joseph Butryn was born in Schenectady, New York, on May 10, 1921. After graduating from Nott Terrace High School, he began working for General Electric.
On October 12, 1943, Stanley enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with Company F, 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division. On December 6, 1944, Stanley was killed in action. He is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
