Stanley Micael Suschinski, the son of Michael and Frances Suschinski, was born on June 17, 1918, in Connecticut. He was raised in Glens Falls, New York, and went to St. Mary's Academy. As an adult, Stanley relocated to Schenectady and began working at General Electric. 

On December 30, 1943, Stanley enlisted in the United States Army and was trained at Camp Blanding, Florida, Fort Benning, Georgia, and Fort Meade, Maryland. He was a Private in the 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 17th Airborne Division. Before being dispatched to Belgium, Stanley saw action in England and France. Stanley was killed during the Battle of the Bulge on January 7, 1945. He is buried in St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fort Edward, New York.
