Steve Dusannki was born in Russia on November 22, 1890. He moved to the United States without his parents and was living in Schenectady with an aunt. Before enlisting, Steve worked for the General Electric Company.
Steve enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. On June 16, 1918, Steve was killed during battle in France. He is buried in the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial, France.
