Thomas Albert Culver, the son of Charles and Margaret (Staulters) Culver, was born on April 24, 1925, in Schenectady, New York. Prior to joining the military, he worked for Guy Buick Company and attended Nott Terrace High School.
On August 3, 1943, Thomas enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps, and in June 1944, he was sent overseas. He held the rank of Sergeant and served with the 340th Bomb Squadron, 97th Bomb Group. On September 13, 1944, Thomas went missing during a mission over Germany. He is remembered in Memory Gardens and Memorial Park, Colonie, New York.
