World War II (1939-1945)

William Lewis Kipp was born in Hoosick Falls, New York, on August 9, 1919. It's unclear why he was in the city of Schenectady in the early 1940's. 

On December 31, 1943, William enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with Company C, 110th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division. On October 3, 1944, William was killed in battle in Germany. He is buried in the Maple Grove New Cemetery in Hoosick Falls, New York.
